The Studio

Joinery is not manufactured.

It is made.

CH Croy Interiors is a small bespoke joinery studio working from a workshop in Cape Town. Every commission begins with a site measure and ends with a craftsman on their knees, checking a shadow gap with a straight edge.

We work in solid oak and walnut, hand-sprayed lacquers, honed stone and brushed brass. Doors are aligned to a shared reveal, grain is matched across a run, and nothing leaves the bench until it closes with the right sound.

BeforeAfter

A living room transformed — custom media cabinetry, timber slats and a marble-effect feature wall.

The Process

Six steps betweenidea and installation.

  1. 01

    Consultation

We sit in the space, understand how it is used, and agree a budget band before drawing anything.

  2. 02

    Measure

Laser and manual site measure. Walls are rarely square — we record every deviation.

  3. 03

    Design

Elevations, shadow gaps and finish samples, revised with you until the detail is right.

  4. 04

    Manufacture

Cut, edged, assembled and sprayed in our Cape Town workshop under one roof.

  5. 05

    Installation

Scribed to the wall on site by the team that built it, with clean-up each evening.

  6. 06

    Final Inspection

Doors aligned, drawers levelled, snags closed, and a care guide handed over.

Materials

We specify by hand, and by feel.

Selected

Oak

Solid and rift-sawn, oiled to a matte, tactile finish.

Samples of every finish are kept at the workshop — we bring the shortlist to your site so you see them in your own light.
